Olive oil, divided2 tablespoons
Garlic cloves, minced1 teaspoon
Parsley, finely chopped, divided2 tablespoons
Sea saltas needed
Black pepper, freshly groundas needed
Heat one tablespoon of olive oil over high heat in a large pan. Season the steak and shrimp with salt and pepper as needed.
Place the steak in the pan. Cook undisturbed for 5-7 minutes per side, or until desired level of doneness is achieved.
Remove the steak from the pan and cover with foil to keep warm.
Wipe out the pan with a paper towel. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the pan.
Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minute or until pink and opaque.
Remove the shrimp from the pan.
Melt the butter in the pan. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in 1 tablespoon of the parsley.
Place the steaks back in the pan. Arrange the shrimp on top of the steaks.
Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the steak and shrimp. Sprinkle with remaining tablespoon of parsley.
Serve with your favourite side dish.
