RECIPE:Seared Garlic Herb Elk Steak

Kosher Salt1 tbsp
Ground Black Pepper1 tbsp
Unsalted Butter4 tbsp
Garlic Cloves6
Rosemary Sprigs2
Thyme Sprigs2
Heat cast iron pan over high heat.
Season elk steaks with a dash of olive oil, salt and pepper.
Place elk steaks and 1 tbsp of butter in cast iron and sear for 2 minutes.
Add garlic, rosemary and thyme and 1 more tbsp of butter cook until seared.
Flip steaks, add remaining butter and baste until reached desired doneness.
