Steak
Olive Oilas needed
Kosher Saltas needed
Black Pepperas needed
Salted Butter1 tablespoon
Fresh Thyme1 sprig
Marinade (optional)
Red Wine½ cup
Worcestershire Sauce1 tablespoon
Garlic, minced1 clove
Sea Salt1 teaspoon
Black Pepper1
/2 teaspoon
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Season the steak on both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a frying pan on medium-to-medium high heat for a few minutes. Add a small amount of oil.
Heat a few more minutes.
Use paper towel to make sure steak is dry.
Add in steak.
Flip the steak after 3 minutes or when the steak moves easily. If it's not moving easily, give it another minute.
Turn the steak over and place the pan with the steak in oven and cook until you have reached the desired degree of doneness.
Remove from the oven.
Add a tablespoon of butter and fresh thyme to the pan after removing it from the oven.
As the butter melts, spoon it on top of the steak.
Allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
