Brown Sugar½ cup
Ketchup6 tablespoons
Soy Sauce6 tablespoons
Sherry or Chicken Broth2 ½ tablespoons
Dried Ginger½ teaspoon
Minced Garlic1 ½ teaspoons
In a small bowl, mix all ingredients. Reserve ½ cup for basting; cover and refrigerate.
Pour marinade over the pork chops and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
Remove pork chops from marinade and grill until you have achieved your desired degree of doneness.
Baste pork chops with reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
