RECIPE:Cedar Planked Salmon Bowl

Cucumbers, seeded, julienned3 cucumbers
Carrots, shredded2 cups
Red bell peppers, thinly sliced3 peppers
Green onions, julienned, both white & green parts5 scallions
Sesame seeds black and white, or combination3 tablespoons
Sesame Vinegar Dressing
Rice wine vinegar3 tablespoons
Toasted sesame oil2 tablespoons
Honey1 tablespoon
Lime, juiced½ lime
Redd pepper flakespinch
Sea saltas needed
Black pepper, freshly groundas needed
To prepare the dressing, combine the rice wine vinegar, toasted sesame oil, honey, lime juice and red pepper flakes in a bowl or jar. Stir to combine well, taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. Set aside.
To prepare the salmon, simply cook directly on cedar plank in 425-degree oven or grill for 18-20 minutes.
Build the bowl by layering cucumbers, carrots, bell pepper and top with dressing. Sprinkle green onions, sesame seeds over top and add portion of grilled cedar plank salmon on top.
